Configure some Important Settings related to au2mator Self-Service Portal.

Admin Group

! CHANGE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

This Group controls the au2mator Admins. If you change this to a different Group, ensure the correct Users are members of this new Group.

Limit Users to Myself

In the Start a Request (Page), you can control if you want to select a Target User or every Service is directly started for the logged-in User.

With that Toggle, you can control that behavior.

Multi-Domain Support

When you enable the setting, we also count Users and Groups in all Sub and trusted Domains. This also affects the Licensing.

When this setting is enabled, we also count all Users from Sub and trusted Domains. If this amount exceeds your Licenses User, au2mator will switch to trial Mode.

Recursive AD Group check

When you enable this setting, we are also looking for Groups in groups and their members. This can affect the Performance to load the available Services and Service Groups on the Start a Request (Page) 

Active Directory Search Algorithm 

In some cases, a specific algorithm for loading the available Services and Service Groups on the Start a Request (Page) had different performance results on different customers. So we included a setting to control, how we calculate the available Services and Service Groups on the Start a Request (Page) 

• Use a single LDAP filter
  • Here, we are building a single LDAP Query to calculate
    
    
• Use multi-stage LDAP filters.
  • Here, we are using multiple smaller LDAP Queries to calculate

• Calculate all user AD groups before displaying services with no further LDAP filtering.
  • Here, we do a prefiltering and only have some small LDAP Filters at the end
  • This method is standard and preferred.

This Setting is not available with Multi Domain Support enabled
