Let your Requesters pick an existing Asset directly in a Service Request.

Step 1: Add the Question

Add a new Question to your Service and choose Asset as the Question Type.

Step 2: Configure the Scope

Choose the Scope (All, Team or User) and optionally restrict the picker to one or more Categories.

Step 3: Test your Service

Start a Request as a Test User and make sure the correct Assets are shown in the picker.
