How Language Settings works in au2mator

Multiple Entities in au2mator can be limited to a specific Language, Services, Service Groups, and Announcements. When you relate an Entity to a Language, it will only show up to the user with the same Profile Language,

How does it work

Whenever you set a Language to a Service, a Service Group, or an Announcement, this entity is limited to users with the same Profile Language.

Profile Language

There are 2 Ways to set the Profile Language of a User.

User sets Language

Every user can set the Language in his Profile Settings in the au2mator Portal. 

Use preferreLanguage Property in Active Directory.

You can predefine the Language for each User in Active Directory and follow the steps to solve.

1. Set the AD Value "preferredLanguage" with the corresponding 2-digit Language Culture Name.
2. Navigate to Settings (Page) and General (Settings)
3. Activate "Use Preferred Language"
4. Once a user logs in, we will set the Language of the au2mator Self-Service Portal to the corresponding value of "preferredLanguage."

When a User sets his Profile Language, we do not take care about the "preferredLanguage" anymore.
