Country is the simplest master data entity in Asset Management: it just holds a country name and its ISO codes, and is used by Companies and Locations.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Overview
Countries are referenced from both Company and Location records.
Fields
- Name
- Iso Short – the two-letter ISO region code (e.g. AT, DE).
- Iso Long – the three-letter ISO region code (e.g. AUT, DEU).
Automatic Seeding
au2mator seeds the full Country list automatically from .NET's built-in culture/region data on first setup, so every country already exists out of the box. You usually only need the Country list to assign Companies/Locations to a Country — you rarely have to create a new one yourself.
